Science I Bimestral Review

Filed under: Uncategorized — tsosa70 at 10:24 pm on Friday, April 29, 2011

Here something to help you study for your first science bimestral.

We posted two documents- one saved on word 2007, and the other on word 97-2003.

Hope one of the two is compatible with your computer!

We added an empty worksheet, and one with answers; so that you can “play” the role of the teacher and correct your own work!!

Good luck to all!

Welcome to 5th grade Science!!!
Dear Family,
In Science class, we will be using HSP Science. This textbook program provides comprehensive science content and hands-on experiences. Our new 21 students classrooms will also help in making our Science program more of an experience and allow more hands-on projects and laboratories.
There are many ways you can help your child with Science this year.
Here are some ideas:
  • Encourge your child to read science library books or to search the interenet about topics related to the units and chapters beeing studies
  •
  • Visit with your child the Class’s blog at luvscience.edublogs.org  We will try to post ineteresting links, internet pages, games, power point presentations and much more. In addition to that we will post our class rules and class description in our blog.
  •  Keep up to date via our MEREB- we will post homework, important project dates, test dates, etc… All of these should also be written in your child’s agenda.
  • Comments on your child’s behavior during our class are posted twice a bimester in the MEREB please make sure you know how to access them. If we need to contact you we will do it via MEREB; if you need to contact us you can do the same!
  • Keep tract of your child’s improvements during the school year by checking his/her notebooks, agenda, blog and MEREB.
Let’s work together on having a wonderful year!!!! Again please visit our blog at: luvscience.edublogs.org to read more about our class rules and course description. *to the right of this post*
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sosa
